Screencaps--Myst 3: Exile

Specifically, everyone's favorite mad Narayani, Saavedro! Played by Brad Dourif (Grima Wormtongue), he gave a new dimension of urgency and darkness to this game that was not experienced in past Myst games, and expanded on the story of Sirrus and Achenar's tour of destruction before they were caught by their father. I think by the end of the game we were all rooting for him, however, as we had experienced a similar  manipulation and exile (though not quite as long) at the hands of the two brothers. So get ready for some haggard, insane prettiness!

And now for the various game-ending images. Don't look if you don't want game-end spoilers! (though there's very little to be garnered from the simple images >.> )

First the good ending. You have to take a pretty serious risk to get it by trapping him on the gondola platform. Luckily, rather than rage, he breaks down and pleads with you not to leave him trapped again, and then gives you Releeshahn in a desperate bid for freedom. You can leave him there and return to Atrus, but that's SUPER MEAN, and you don't get any new images of Saavedro, so I have no caps from that XP

Bad ending no. 1, where you just stand there like a fool calling a bluff that didn't exist--one of three that end with a hammer to your head XD

Bad ending no. 2, where you let him go without getting Releeshahn from him--he tosses it off the edge as he takes off XP

And bad end no. 3, where you trap him, then let him back into the platform. Another end that results in a wonderful head-bashing courtesy of Saavedro. I don't have any from when he chases you into Tomahna, as there just weren't any good shots to be had :/

I can't find any vids of his easter eggs or behind-the-scenes ones, so if anyone knows of any, please link me! I'll return the favor with some nice caps ;)

I've got a potential aftermath fic forming in my head, so maybe, if I can build up enough momentum, I'll post that for you as well! :D

This is VERY much appreciated - especially for those of me us who played the thing on a PS2 and cannot take screenshots themselves. Thank you! (and a happy new year^^)
